My Versa2 won't reset my steps or my calories burned completely...I will have about 52 steps logged before I have even put the watch on and about 300 calories burned before use. Can I reset that somehow?

Hi there, @JDenton. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the inconvenience with your Versa 2.

Please keep in mind that sometimes you may get get steps when waking up, but is due to Fitbit devices may register movements or restlessness as steps when you're wearing it while you sleep. The number of steps typically measured during these periods is minimal, and should not offset your overall fitness progress. Any steps taken to and from other rooms during the night will also be tracked.

As for the calories, the value that you see on your Fitbit when you wake up in the morning is your estimated calorie burn for the day so far. You still burn calories even if you have been sedentary or were sleeping. We estimate your calorie burn based on your age, gender, height and weight. You burning calories even when you are sleeping. When you are not wearing your Fitbit then it is estimated your passive calories burned.

Hi @JDenton - this can't be reset but it can be improved. If you constantly wear your watch the calories burned will be more accurate than the estimate, because it can then use heart rate to calculate it.

It tries to estimate how many calories will have been burnt always from midnight.
