Versa 2 is showing steps for my fit bit 2

I just got The versa two yesterday. And I have a Fitbit 2 that my daughter is wearing.. both are on my Fitbit app but my versa two is reflecting steps for my Fitbit 2 which is incorrect because I’m not wearing the Fitbit 2.  Why isn’t it showing my steps??

First there is no Fitbit 2.  There are several models with a 2 at the end, Versa 2, Charge 2, Inspire 2, Ace 2, Flex 2, at least.

I'm not just trying to be picky because it matters for the answer.

You say you have them both on your app.  Are they both on the same account?  If so, that is not going to work for 2 different people.  Each person needs their own fitbit account.  If they are both on the same account, which can happen only with certain models, Fitbit treats it as you wearing 2 models and switching between them.

If you want 2 people on the same phone, each needs their own Fitbit account/email and you have to keep logging out of one account, then logging back in with the other.

But if your daughter is younger than 12 (or is it 13), she cannot have her own Fitbit account.  In that case she must be on your family account, which allows her to have only Ace or Ace 2.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Thank you!! My bad it’s a charge 2... I’m going to delete the Charge 2 from my FitBit app.
