Why is my Fitbit Versa 2 over estimating calories. Verified all info is entered correctly ie: weight, age etc. For example, walked 4330 steps and showing 1224 calories. I know it re sets at midnight to 0, I do not wear my Fitbit to bed, but every morning it shows 500 + of calories already. Tried hard reset, deleting app, unpairing and nothing works. Called support and they could not help. Any solution to this problem?

500+ calories in the morning are your BMR (basal metabolic rate) calories burned. These are calories you are always burning just to stay alive. They are credited even when you are not wearing the watch. They generally account for more than half of your daily calorie burn. And no, you cannot prevent BMR calories from being counted and displayed.
