My versa 2 has been out of battery for a couple of days and I haven't had it on either but I keep getting notifications of new badges earned for doing s certain amount of steps that I obviously haven't done. The app isn't even synched either but it keeps counting all these steps and I've been pretty inactive during Christmas. Apparently I did 65k steps in one day last week! Anyone else had this issue?

Hi there, @JOIbha. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post. I understand where your concern is coming from.
Do you have another app connected to your Fitbit account that will add more steps? Mobiletrack maybe? Low-power step sensors inside your phone track your steps and send the data to the Fitbit app. We recommend using MobileTrack if you forget your Fitbit device at home.
With the above being said, I'd suggest you to check if MobileTrack is causing the extra steps. I've seen many users (including myself) who had have this issue and at the end we realize that MobileTrack was the one adding steps while we were sleeping. It would worth the try to double check this.
