Versa 2 is tracking the movement of my arm as steps

My Versa 2 is tracking the movement of my arm as steps.  For example, I have over 5,000 steps daily prior to Noon.  This is not correct.  How do  you set the watch to record steps not arm movement?

There is no setting. All the wrist trackers will randomly record arm movements as steps. Yours seemd excessive however. What are you doing?

I am left handed and want to wear watch on left hand.  This doesn't seem to work.  All my movement (arm) is being tracked as steps.  I sit at my desk and move my arm to answer phone, the step counter moves.  I was asked to move the watch to my non-dominant wrist and see if this makes a difference.  If I have to wear on right arm, I need to return as I have never worn a watch on my right arm.  It doesn't feel right and very, very uncomfortable.

Their is a setting for the arm under the Versa settings. Look for wrist placement and set it for dominate.
