Versa 2 is vibrating all the time even when charging it

Pretty sure this didn't always happen, but my Versa 2 is buzzing (vibrating) for every notification my phone receives even when it is charging in its cradle.  Is this expected?

I think I changed a setting to let the watch see/display 'all' notifications now, so maybe this has been true all along and I just didn't notice before.  I do wear headphones a LOT of the time.

To prevent this must I manually change the notification settings?  I'm pretty sure turning every notification off will fix it.  But I'd rather not need to flip the setting anytime I charge or wear the device.  And the random buzzing in the distance is annoying.

Don't think I can turn it off before charging to prevent this either (which is an annoyingly long process too), since it'll turn on again in the charger... right?

Just tried to chat with their support and received 1 message from a bot, then nothing for 5 minutes.  I gave up.  Now the option isn't allowed (guessing time based, but their 'hours of operation' only lists phone calls which appear to be 24/7...  no I don't want to talk to you).

Hi there, @EternalStudent. It's nice to see you around the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I'm sorry to hear that your Versa 2 keeps vibrating when charging it. I understand how annoying this can be, I will do my best to help you with this!

As you mentioned, it sounds like you change something in the notifications settings. However, if you don't want to turn them off completely, you can try using DND or sleep mode when charging your Versa 2.

When you turn on the do not disturb setting:

  • Notifications, goal celebrations, and reminders to move don't cause the watch to vibrate or the screen to turn on.
  • You get a do not disturb icon at the top of the screen when you swipe down to check your notifications.

When you turn on the sleep mode setting:

  • Notifications don't cause the watch to vibrate or the screen to turn on.
  • The screen's brightness is set to dim.
  • The Always-On Display clock face is turned off (on watches that support it).
  • Turning your wrist won't cause the watch's screen to turn on.
  • You get a sleep mode icon at the top of the screen when you swipe down to check your notifications.

You can't turn on do not disturb and sleep mode at the same time.

I'm sorry to hear you didn't have the chance to contact our Support Team again. Our hours of operation are listed in our Fitbit Help Center site

I'd assumed the device would automatically mute itself when it was charging.  Since it can't be used very well (button on the side being blocked, etc).  But I guess that wasn't part of the plan.

Thanks for the ideas/options.  I ended up turning all notifications off.  Breaks one reason I'd ever use the device (not interested in switching settings for every charge), but such is life.
