Versa 2 isn't tracking my hear rate accurately

Hello,

I've had my Versa 2 for about a month and I've noticed that when I do exercise, the heart rate tracker is completely off. For instance, when I'm doing a HIIT workout and am gasping for breath after ten minutes, the Versa 2 HR tracker will say my heart rate is only on about 90-100, in the 'below zone' which is ridiculous. I started to have this problem with my old Versa after an update came in towards the end of 2020, is there anything that can be done to sort this issue? It's incredibly frustrating!

Hi there @TomO89, welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for sharing the details about the inconvenience with your Versa 2. I understand how you must be feeling.

At times, you might notice slight variations between your heart-rate reading on your Fitbit device versus on another device (such as a chest strap or another wrist-based heart-rate tracker) due to the differences in technologies.

Differences between heart-rate readings on your device and on exercise equipment are likely due to wrist or hand position. Make sure the back of your device is in contact with your wrist and that your band is snug.

Note that you might notice slight variations between your heart-rate reading on your new Fitbit devices compared with your old ones due to improvements in the heart rate sensor and algorithm.
