Versa 2 isn't tracking sleep and can't see it on quick look either

I went to Dallas last weekend and wore my Fitbit. When I returned home, it tracked my sleep for Monday; however, since then nada. I did a factory reset of my Fitbit and deleted the app. Reinstalled the app and linked my Fitbit to it. Unless I log my own sleep, I do not have anything. I have all the settings set as I did before, but still nothing. This is very frustrating.  Was there an update that I haven't done? My app doesn't show one available. I truly do not want to have to purchase another Fitbit when this one worked perfectly until Tues, Aug 8.  Please help!

Good to see you for the first time in the community @MelanieMS.

Thanks for providing the details regarding this inconvenience.

Please keep in mind that there are some factors that may prevent your tracker from recording your sleep. Please make sure of the following:

  • If you slept in a position that prevented your device from getting a consistent heart-rate reading or wore it too loosely. For best results, wear your device as described in this help article.
  • If you slept for less than 1 hour for sleep patterns or less than 3 hours for sleep stages.
  • If your device’s battery is critically low.

If you haven't done so already, please try to complete a restart procedure.

In addition, please wear your device on your non-dominant hand and monitor it for the next few days. In the meantime, for the nights that don't have sleep data, you can manually log your sleep by going to the Fitbit app, tapping on the "+" icon next to the sleep tile > Add Sleep Log and entering your details.

My sleep data has been very sporadic over the last month too.  I  have never had an issue with the sleep data until about the middle of July.  Over the last month, sleep data was only reported about half of the time.  I do not think I am doing anything different and I have been using my Fitbit for years.  The sleep data has been reporting as normal the last three nights after not reporting the previous seven nights.

Your experience is exactly the same as mine. I worked with it for a few months but now everything else is getting flaky and has now almost completely stopped.

I have ordered a V4 as I believe they have a shelf life of only a few years.
