Versa 2 keeps buzzing in the middle of the night

For the past 3 weeks now my Fitbit has buzzed every Monday at bang on midnight! This wakes me up, I’m not a good sleeper as it is so when this happens it means I’m awake for at least 2 hours! Why is this happening and can I stop it happening!

Could it be that you have a daily goal that's set to zero? If so, as soon as the counts reset at midnight you'll reach your daily goal and get the celebration buzz.

No I have a goal on everything but non set to zero, it only happens on a Monday, it’s strange, it’s as though it’s the start of a new week so it’s letting me know

It's interesting to hear that it only happens on a Monday. When checking your goals did you check the weekly goal for Active Zone Minutes - that's the only one I can think of that has a weekly goal as well as a daily goal?

Hi there @Mrssoliver41013. Thanks for sharing the details about the issue with your Versa 2 and for answering @SteveH's questions. I understand how you must be feeling.

To better assist you with this, would you mind double checking if there are no alarms mistakenly set on your Versa 2? For more information, see How do I manage alarms on my Fitbit device?

Also, I'd like to know if you've had the chance to see what your watch displays at the time it buzzes? How long does it vibrates? Do you do anything to stop it? Like pressing the button or touching the screen? Or it stops automatically? Have you checked if your phone also has any kind notification around the time when your watch vibrates?

Looking forward to your response.

Hi, my first alarm is for 3:30 which is my alarm to get up, there’s nothing before that, I haven’t noticed anything on the screen it’s just my normal watch face, I don’t press anything on it, it buzzes like it does when I hit a milestone but there’s nothing that could cause this, also no notifications on my phone.

@Mrssoliver41013 Thanks for that information.

As a last resource, would you mind checking if you don't have health and wellness reminders On? For more information, see What are the reminders I see on my Fitbit device?

Another thought, Do you use voice assistant? If so, have you checked for alarms there (they are separate from the normal alarms)

I have my week set Sunday-Saturday. Mine has been buzzing at midnight Saturday night for a few weeks now showing I reached my 150 active zone minutes for the week. I'm always awake so it doesn't really bother me. Don't know of a way to turn it off. Is this what you're getting?

I haven’t noticed anything on the screen other than the time, I usually do around 600 minutes active, I wonder if I change it to something really high it will stop doing it? Worth a try I guess

@MarreFitbit is there an option to turn off 150 zone minutes reached, vibration at midnight when your week ends?

@MarkMM To start, your goal is to earn 150 Active Zone Minutes each week. The American Heart Association and World Health Organization recommend at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity activity or 75 minutes of vigorous activity, or a combination of both, each week. If you earn an average of 22 Active Zone Minutes daily, you meet these recommendations, but you can change your goal based on your needs.

Update your goal in the Fitbit app. For more information, see How do I track my health and fitness goals with the Fitbit app?

@MarreFitbit I get 150 minutes on Sunday  every week. I don't mind being alerted at that time. Its the one at midnight when the week ends, I'm  not sure about. I already reached 150 nearly a week ago. Do I really need a midnight reminder? I suppose you can have both or neither, huh?.

So really no resolution to this?  I noticed this the other night.  At midnight all of a sudden my Versa 2 starts to vibrate to a certain beat.  It woke me up so I couldn't figure out exactly what beat it was.  But in my half asleep state I thought it was shave and a haircut, two bits. ‌‌  It was some sort of celebratory buzzing.
