Versa 2 map not showing after walk

Just bought a Versa 2, and activates for instance Walk when going for a walk. Distance and all is showing afterwards in the app but not the map. It's almost as if I have autottacked the walk, not activated the exercise prior to doing it.

I have had a Versa for 2 years prior to the Versa 2, using the same phone and this was never a problem with the Versa. I have already  checked so that GPS is activated on the phone and for the exercise type. 

What to do?

Hi @JennyU before taking off, does the Versa 2 show that it has connected to the phone GPS?

Do you get a distance measurement? With auto connect, you should not.

May i ask which phone we are asking about?

Hi.

The clock says connecting when I start the walk for instance, the phone say Connected GPS is running. 

And yes I do get distance measurement.

I have an Samsung Galaxy S9+.

If you manually start using the walk/run mode, you will see a distance with or without GPS. You will only get a map after the Tracker has connected to the phones GPS.

With my samsung I find a phone restart gets the GPS connected.

I always start an activity manually, that has never been a problem with my Versa before.

Restart didn't work unfortunately. Any other suggestion?

Adding photos if that helps. Still problems after restart, reinstalling etc.
