Versa 2 motorbike rides

I currently have my Versa 2 set to not register outdoor biking as every time I ride my motorbike this is recorded as an outdoor bike activity.

I have seen that you can manually log bike rides as a driving activity but is there a way to set this so that it will automatically log my motorbike rides as such? I really don't want to have to do this manually twice a day, 5/6 days a week.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @Tessiia. Thank you for sharing your motobike ride inquiry.

Currently there's no a way to set your activity automatically, as you mentioned before, you can manually log your activities. Please check: How do I track my activity with my Fitbit device?

Thank you for your advise @SunsetRunner.

I don't think the watch can tell the difference from a bike to motorized bike. You should be able to turn off auto-recognize as shown in the link below. I've never tried it, but @SunsetRunner is very knowledgeable.

@AndreaFitbit I thought this may be the case. Hopefully in the future there will be the ability to automatically log activity X as activity Y. So you could set any outdoor cycle activity to change to motorbike. I've seen many others have this same issue. Setting it to simply ignore the activity means you loose out on those calories, which can add up if you ride a lot. And manually changing it is just a pain.

@SunsetRunner thank you for replying. I had turned automatically recognise off but the calories burnt during a motorbike ride do add up so decided to turn it back on and just manually change it to motorbike after each ride.

I understand how frustrating manually adding your activity could be and if you have a more elaborated idea, the best place to make your voice heard is the Feature Suggestion board. If a similar suggestion has already been made by another member of the community, you can vote for their suggestion and add your comments.
