I want to know when I listen to music on the watch music app, does it continue to drain the battery if I stop the music and back out of the app clear back to the watch dial?
Or, once I stop the music and back out of the app to the time dial is the Music App effectively turned off?

@Gasatict It's nice to see you on the Community. Thanks for the details mentioned.
I'll be happy to clarify your inquiry. When you're using listening to the music of the Versa's 2 once you stop the song, it should stop using the app and therefore it won't drain your battery.
Here are some tips that you can check about how to extend your Fitbit device's battery life?
I'll be around if you have any additional questions.

Silvia,
Thanks for the information.
So if I understand, when I stop listening to a song that I’ve downloaded onto my Versa 2 and I have backed up to the Versa 2 clock face, the Music App is effectively turned off and will not drain the battery on my Versa 2.
I have noticed that playing a single song appears to take quite a lot of battery strength away from the watch. Somewhere between 5-8%. If that continues to be the case I won’t be playing much music on my watch.
Thanks for your support.

@Gasatict Thanks for getting back.
Yes, when you stop listening to the music stored in your Fitbit Versa 2, it should turn off the app and stop draining the battery. However, playing music stored on your watch will drain the battery at a faster rate.
I'll be around if you have any additional questions.
