I recently got a new Versa 2 after I broke my other one. I want to get a new watch face, but it keeps saying your Fitbit mobile app as well as your watch need to be running the latest software. But the thing is that there are no updates available for both my mobile app and my Versa 2. I have an iOS device (iPhone XR) that is running Version 3.34, and my Versa 2 is running Version 7.7.14. When I check for an update for both the Versa 2 and the mobile app there is none available. Please help.

Hi @Alexthemessifan, welcome to our Fitbit Community. I'm sorry to hear that your Versa 2 is asking you to update the firmware and the app but there are not updates available. I understand how you feel about this and I appreciate the time spent trying to get this issue resolved before contacting our forums.
Please restart your Versa 2 as described in this help article. After this, check out this help page, which contains some troubleshooting steps for you to try. Finally, try changing the clock face to one developed by Fitbit, not a third party clock face and see if the issue gets fixed.
Keep me posted on the outcome.

I had the same issue and deep within the Fitbit help they mention that it sometimes takes 24-48 hours after your Versa 2 is charged for the update to actually show up. Has something to do with syncing between the Fitbit app and the server for the update to show up.
Weird, I know, but it did show up for me after I got a Fitbit replacement. Just give it a little time...

I am having the same issue. My Versa Lite outright died last week, and my new Versa 2 just arrived today. It's not tracking Active Zone Minutes like the Versa Lite did, and I also can't access certain clock faces - yet, I see nowhere to update the firmware or the app. It's running a 35 version for firmware, well below the 38 in the blog you linked to, but again, I don't see any way to update the firmware. I tried working with chat and they just told me to "keep an eye on it," but that doesn't tell me much, either. Thanks for any direction you can give.
