Versa 2, no Alexa feature on device bought in Canada

Hi. I just bought the Fitbit Versa 2 to replace my old Blaze. I specifically bought it in Canada so I could use the Alexa feature. I’m from the Netherlands myself and this feature for some reason does not come with the watch there. 

 

Yet I don’t see the option to link my Fitbit account with Amazon in order to enable the feature. I actually am still in Canada, so that can’t be it. Any idea what I’m missing?

I can only assume that even though you bought your Versa 2 in Canada, your actual fitbit account must be registered as a Netherlands account? Have you tried tapping your account icon (in the fitbit app) - scroll down to advanced settings - under select location (change to Canada). You might need to log out and back into the app, if you now see Alexa then you know why.

I bought my versa 2 here in the Philippines. Why there is no amazon alexa in the tile row. Please help

Hello @ArbyItable and a warm welcome.  The Philippines aren't on the list of supported countries.  I know that some users get Alexa to work by changing their location using the Advanced Settings in the Fitbit app.  I don't know how well this works.  I am in a supported country and don't need this workaround.
