I've done everything I can think of, reset both devices and even reset bluetooth connections in the s8 and nothing will get it to reconnect. Please help

Hi @Design-nerd did you do a factory reset? This usually adds more problems.
Normally I would go through the sync troubleshooting but I'm not sure if your tracker is still connected to your fitbit account.
A factory reset removes the tracker from your fitbit account and requires setup.
