Versa 2 no longer showing texts

My Versa 2 was allowing me to receive and read texts but now I just get the notifications. I just opened it last night and today is my first day using it. I tried unpairung it then pairing it again but still no content on texts just the notification which says "now" under it and the three options REPLY,  OPEN or CLEAR.  Open only opens the message on my actual phone. Anyone have a clue how to fix this??

What phone do you have @VersaVirginMari?

You say that you unpaired through the phones bluetooth, to receive texts the tracker needs to be a trusted device in bluetooth. 

I see it mentioned that you also paired, if you did pair the tracker through the phones bluetooth,  you will need to un-pair it and let the Fitbit app to pair the tracker to the phone.
