I bought a Fitbit Versa 2 in USA and brought this to India for my wife. My wife did not use it after unboxing and recently we tried using it again - the device won't switch on and when we put that to charging, the battery charging indicator does show up as moving but it doesn't increase beyond 0%. We tried putting it to charge different ways - on the switch board, laptop, power bank and still same problem. Did all cleaning tasks as narrated on some other forums. Contacted the customer care and they simply said that since our product was out of warranty period hence, they won't be able to do anything and it cannot be repaired as well by paying the necessary cost. Blatantly, I was asked to look at other Fitbit products and frankly, I am not going to advocate Fitbit products for their horrible customer service and after sales service.
Not happy with the customer service of such a reputed brand name wherein a brand new and expensive watch which has not been used even once is of no use now.

Hi @SumitAgarwal - as it hasn't been used for a long time and you can't get it replaced, try charging it for a longer period on a computer port.
It could take a while to wake up the battery.
Also check you have the right charger.
If you have a Versa charger the Versa 2 is not compatible with it but they look alike.

I am using the Versa 2 charger only which came along with the new box. I will try this way as well of putting this on the laptop port for longer time, let's see if it works. Will confirm soon how it turned out for me.

@SumitAgarwal - good that you are pursuing solutions.
Could it have been factory reset at some point? There is a known problem with that.
On mine it manifests itself as showing 0% whenever you touch a button and it's not charged, and if charged nothing happens.
If you plug it into a computer it will constantly be found then lost, with the appropriate sound issued by the computer.
Dors that appear to be it's symptoms?
