Versa 2 not connecting to Strava and logging incorrect mileage

I've had my Versa 2 since 2019 and I have never had any issues with logging accurate miles (compared to Google maps. I've started running again and trying to track my time for my runs. I will typically map  out my route on Google maps prior to running. Today I noticed that the 2 mile route that I planned on on Google maps was logged as 1.63 miles on my Versa 2. Now that doesn't seem accurate to me at all. 

 

My other issue is trying to connect my Versa 2 to Strava. I do all the proper log ins on both the Fitbit app and the Strava app. And they both say I'm connected. Then when I try to select Strava on my Versa 2, it keeps giving me the message, "Link Account. Go to Strava settings on your Fitbit mobile app to log in." I've restarted my Versa 2 and unlinked and relinked the Fitbit and Strava accounts to each other and it still doesn't work.

 

Is anyone else having any of these issues??

I’m sorry to hear about the difficulties you experienced with your Fitbit Versa 2. Thank you for the time you spent trying to get them resolved.

 

If you haven't done so, please follow the troubleshooting steps in this article in the menu "How do I get my Fitbit device to connect to GPS?".

 

In addition, you can set up your Watch as a replacement device:

 

  1. Tap the Today tab, and tap your profile picture.
  2. Tap Set Up a Device.
  3. Choose your device and follow the on-screen instructions to continue.

 

You can check if there is any update for the Strava app. For instructions, please visit this article and open the menu "How do I manage apps on my Fitbit watch?" > "How do I update apps on my Fitbit watch?".
