Versa 2 not connecting to my iPhone

Before I start I must say I have done my research and already tried and tested the suggested actions to connect my fit bit to my phone. It’s still not working, every time go on to the app it just says “looking” even though my versa 2 is paired with my phone. Any ideas? Like I said I’ve gone through all the remedies I could find through the community but to no joy.

@SeVeN11 Thanks for the details shared in your post.

Please try following what I just suggested here, as per the description of your post it looks like you have only unpaired your Versa 2 from the Fitbit app but not from the phone's Bluetooth settings and your watch needs to be unpaired from both the Fitbit app and phone's Bluetooth settings so you can repair it back to your Fitbit account. Once you're there, note the set up process is done through the Fitbit app not the phone's Bluetooth settings. For more information, see How do I set up my Fitbit device?

Hope that clarifies your issue.

I had the recent sync issues and followed the troubleshooting steps.

reboot phone and device

turn on/off bluetooth

reboots in between

reinstall the fitbit app

logged out/in

removed all device from the fitbit app (this is where things went wrong)

now i can't add the device back... is as if there's no bluetooth on the device.

Or if it does pair it still doesn’t sync or show notifications right?

Hi there @Jackred, welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Versa 2 before reaching out.

team has just informed us that some users are experiencing this situation with the new Fitbit app 3.39 on iOS device. However, note they are working to have it resolved as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience and sorry for any inconvenience this could have caused.

Hey @SeVeN11, welcome on board. Thanks for sharing the details about the issue with your watch and for highlighting the steps you've performed so far.

It seems that your tracker cannot connect again since you haven't yet forgotten the connection between your watch and phone's Bluetooth. With that said, try the steps below:

  • Unpair your Versa 2 from your phone's Bluetooth.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off the Bluetooth.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth.
  • Setup your Versa 2 again.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Versa 2.

If you can't get started with your Versa 2, usually a missing requirement is the cause. Carefully review the requirements provided in the help article: Why can't I set up my Fitbit device?

Hope that helps.

My problem is I cannot pair the versa 2 back to my android phone.

Literally just happened today, been trying for hours to get it to pair and its still not working.

Note 1: pairing = connecting the versa 2 to the fitbit app on phone.

Note 2: the reason why i'm in this situation is because I wasn't able to for the last 2 days and troubleshooting tips told me to unpair/pair it back.

Seems like the bluetooth on the versa 2 is not working as intended.

I’ve done this once already and it worked for a few days, then stops again.
