Versa 2 not getting phone call and text message notifications samsung galaxy note 9

I just got a Versa 2 and it won't display text or call notifications from my Samsung Galaxy Note 9. I did a trouble-shoot based on a video, unpaired and repaired the devices, rebooted the phone, made sure the notification options were on, and nothing works. I am very disappointed!  This should be a key feature of this device. It's the main thing I wanted since I don't use many of the other features such as Alexa.

Same here, except I don’t calls or texts on my iPhone. I noticed today that the only notification I get is a missed call notification. I contacted fit bit tech support, apple tech support, even factory reset my Fitbit.. nothing works. On my old iPhone this was never a problem and everything went through. Not sure why I’m having problems now. Really disappointed

i got notices & calls on my older phone (galaxy 8 and the note 9 is up to date and newer than the 8 which is about 3 years old!
