Versa 2 not keeping track of stairs

I upgraded to a Versa 2 so I could work on a new health goal, using steps. Mine worked for a couple days and now won’t track stairs at all. Please help.

Your Versa 2 tracks stairs by measuring changes in air pressure through a small hole in the back of the tracker. If this hole becomes blocked it can prevent stairs being tracked. Try giving it a gentle clean with, for example, an old toothbrush or a can of compressed air.

Note that it's the small hole in the back, not the one on the side (which is the microphone). Also, don't try to poke anything into the hole as that can cause more problems.

Thanks. I tried the compress air and also did a reset. Still no luck. 😢

I'm sorry to hear that. It may be that your tracker has a defect. I'd suggest contacting customer support as your next step. If they can't fix it then they can check your warranty status and advise on your options. You can get them via: contact.fitbit.com
