Versa 2 not receiving notifications from my iPhone

Hi, I just got my versa 2 yesterday and following all setup guidelines I still can not receive txt notifications... I have made sure the Fitbit app and my phone notifications are set up to receive them, I have switched Bluetooth on and off disconnected the device reinstalled, made sure my IOS up to date .... I’m disappointed as it was between the versa 2 or Apple and only realising last night Fitbit does not even support on of the biggest British banks for contactless payments. Any help would be appreciated otherwise I’m returning and going for Apple
