Versa 2 not receiving text messages from iPhone.

Good morning. Just received a Versa 2 for Xmas. And it will not receive text messages from my IPhone. The Charge 3 also quit receiving them. Not sure if it was the previous IOS update or not. All

 notifications settings are on. Able to receive phone call notifications. Getting so frustrated thought upgrading my Fitbit would have solved the problem. But apparently not. Perhaps it is the phone. iPhone X either disappointed no matter which one is causing the problem. Pls help me fix this.

I just spent all morning with the same issue.  Only on a Charge 2 and a brand new Versa Lite.  After rebooting multiple times and trying everything suggested off the internet I finally found a suggestion that worked.  I had to go to my iPhone Settings, Notifications, Messages, and make sure the "show previews" was "Always".  And also had to made sure all 3 alerts are ticked.  I did call fitbit and it is an IOS issue.  So once it gets fixed I am hoping to turn off the "show previews" option.
