I have a Versa 2 and an iPhone X and cannot seem to get my text messages to my watch. All the settings are on to receive notifications on phone & watch. I had no issue with this and the blaze. Help please:)

I have a Samsung Galaxy S10 on the Verizon network and having the same issue of my Versa 2 suddenly not receiving texts. After trying all the various fixes, including talking to the Fitbit support people (who couldn't fix it and said I had to wait for a Fitbit update), I had a brainstorm. I changed my default messaging app from Android/Samsung messaging to the Verizon messaging app and that fixed it! We will see how long it works, but for now I am again getting texts on my Versa 2..

This started a few days ago with mine. Everything was fine and I have a Samsung Note 10 + 5G. Everything is checked the way it's supposed to but nothing is working

In addition to Verizon messaging, I also tried Google messages (the interface is nicer than Verizon messaging), and it also works. In order to receive notifications, you need to make the messaging app the default on your phone and in the notifications settings in the Fitbit app. Every messaging app that you have downloaded on your phone will immediately show up in the selection list on the Fitbit app.
The only messaging app that doesn't work now with the Versa 2 is the one that is the default with the Samsung Galaxy S10 phone. The problem started after I installed the latest Android system update a couple of days ago. So the easiest workaround for now seems to be to use another messaging app.

Try downloading the Google messages app and using this as your default messaging app on your Fitbit app and your device.

So now it is not just an iPhone issue!! You would think Fitbit would be making this a priority to fix.

Yes. What I did was download the Google Messaging app, selected it as the default in the Fitbit app, and it works. I have a Samsung Galaxy 10 on the Verizon network, so I also tried using the Verizon messaging app, and it worked with that, too. The only one that the Fitbit doesn't receive texts from is the default Samsung Galaxy messaging app. So play around with other messaging apps and see if that solves the problem.

Yes I followed the instructions that someone posted and it was one little setting that was off on my end.
