I have a Versa 2 and an iPhone X and cannot seem to get my text messages to my watch. All the settings are on to receive notifications on phone & watch. I had no issue with this and the blaze. Help please:)

It’s all about the notifications settings
This is mine - don’t see it on the phone but on the watch

Does anyone from Fitbit read this or is it just a hundred posts reporting it doesn't work? If nobody is addressing this I'm just gonna stop following.

I understand it's about notification settings and a lot more. Shouldn't have to restart your phone to resume notification pushing.
I can a hundred percent guarantee you this is a Fitbit issue.

Nothing has worked, this is a troubling thing based on this forum. According to many posts, this is an ongoing issue clocking in at a few months now.

Anyone that called Fitbit and got it fixed can you please share how?

That Fitbit folks were not able to fix it. However, I solved the problem by switching messaging apps. I am now using Google Messages, instead of the Samsung app, as my default app and am receiving texts on my Versa 2. If you are the Verizon network, their Message+ app also worked for me.

I have a Samsung Androit Phone. I think they only fixed the IPhones. But I tried it.Still doesn't work. It did when I first downloaded the software. After a few days stopped sending texts.

Thank you @Bobbie17 I switched to google message and it is working now.
It does suck to have to switch our stuff around with no communication from fitbit
I wish the galaxy watch would catch up to an apple watch I would switch over in an instant!

Try downloading Google Messages and use that as your default messaging app on your phone and in the Fitbit app. This fixed it for me.

The fix I previously posted in this thread ended up being only temporary... the very next day the watch stopped giving me notifications again and hasn't given me a single notification since. Pretty disappointing.

What exactly is it that you did. I have tried everything and nothing works for me. I have a samsung s10+, and like someone else said it would be nice if Fitbit would communicate and let us know they are working to resolve the issue..its very frustrating, I'm about to return it also

I've gone through just about everything that says it will fix it in the Community. Lastly, last night I deleted the watch from the Fitbit app and redid the software as if it was new. It still keeps your information from the Fitbit app. I opened a case number by email with Fitbit. So far they keep responding but sending me back to the Community Forum. I think it's a software problem that they have to fix or replace. It happened with my Charge 3 I had and they replaced it about a week before the year warranty was up. That had other problems. Waiting again for Fitbit. Good thing I didn't get the Premium app as I'd have been wasting money since they want card numbers to charge you after the 3 month's. All the new computerized watches have their problems, and get fixed when you sync since they can see when you do sync. Lastly I went through all the notifications and had them marked "preview". So far that hasn't worked. i think they are too busy working on IPhones not to lose those g since customers to the Apple Watch. It will get working since so many have the same problem. Since it worked at first means it "CAN WORK".

I switched to Google Messages and I am now getting messages on my Fitbit again. I also was able to make it work with Verizon Message+, but I like the Google app better.

How did you get it to work with Verizon Message +? Mine worked when I first activated it for about a week then stopped.

I didn't do anything special. I just installed it as default on my phone and the Fitbit app. I just tested it again and it still works, but I prefer Google Messages. Sorry I can't be of more help.
