I have a Versa 2 and an iPhone X and cannot seem to get my text messages to my watch. All the settings are on to receive notifications on phone & watch. I had no issue with this and the blaze. Help please:)

@KateFitbit what other options do we have? My Versa 2 gets every other notification except for text notifications. I have followed all the article steps multiple times. Would appreciate a response to this from Fitbit. Thank you for your time.

You have to go into messages where it says show previews change to always default. I was having the same issue when my iPhone updated. My text messages show now

This doesn't work. Just heard from Fitbit. Still no fix for the iOS 13 notifications bug. Doesn't seem to be any effort to fix it (it's been over 3 months now). Fitbits are being sold with false advertising because the company knows that it doesn't work with iOS 13+. Also can't set up the wallet function as the watch can't send a verification notification. Don't pay for a product that the company knows doesn't work as they advertise it.

I am so sorry that you cannot get it to work
All I had to do with my iPhone 11 was to set text notifications previews to always
I have had no issues and updates the iOS, shut the phone off and charged the watch.

I have been able to use and have ios 13.3.
it was very inconsistent for days. Then didn’t work for days. But has been working for over a week now - text, emails, calendar alerts, phone calls (notification - of course have to answer on my phone).
sorry for your frustrations - i feel your pain and had given up. Wasn’t key to my purpose for a fitbit. But have to admit now that I’ve had it, like the convenience (my phone is usually muted and not on me - the alert on watch has been great).
hope yours starts working all of a sudden, like mine did!

maybe try something superstitious 🙂
don’t go through all the settings again after versa doesn’t send a mag your blaze is wait until next day.
only say this because i was obsessive about restarting (phone, versa2). And with some apps that weren’t worming, removing them, then re-adding. A water app was as frustrating but....gave up, went to bed, and next day it worked perfectly. Same thing happened with notifications on watch - all of a sudden it started vibrating.
maybe just giving it overnight before doing any changes to settings again. Sounds like you have them right.
dunno 🤷🏻:female_sign: 🙂
but after i had my typical tantrum when encountering tech problems , it resolved after a good night’s sleep 😂

I have been a fan ever since the blaze. I finally upgraded to the versa2 and very disappointed with the notifications. I know it says to put messages to “always” but I don’t want people to see my messages when my phone is locked. Very counterproductive. I’m just going to return for a Apple Watch. Didn’t want to but I feel forced because I don’t think issue will be fixed any time soon it at all.

Um, you don’t have to show messages on the phone. This setting works on Versa2 and doesn’t show text on phone

I’m sure you’ll be happy with apple watch! Everything I own is apple(computer, laptop, phone, ipad) - but i had a fitbit and really like the sleep data. And apple already has all my emails and calls and texts....best keep some info from them (haha). I got versa 2 on sale and paid under $100 or i would have gone with apple watch if paid more, probably. It’s sure to link better to your iphone. Getting notifications wasn’t big on my list when buying (though now enjoy).
good luck!

Notifications show up on both my phone and watch.
and since it took a while to get it to work on watch, I’m not messing with it : )
but doesn’t bother me to have on both. My phone is in pocketbook, or upside down on rare time it’s on table.
