Versa 2 not receiving text messages

I have a Versa 2 and an iPhone X and cannot seem to get my text messages to my watch. All the settings are on to receive notifications on phone & watch. I had no issue with this and the blaze. Help please:)

Well what do I have to do? Because all tips other than switching messages to “always” haven’t worked thus far.

It’s just frustrating that you buy a product that doesn’t do something it’s advertised to do. false advertisement. I feel Fitbit should have compensated us for it if anything. But I will just return, whatever .

I just got a Fitbit versa 2 and was having the same text message problem- they would not show up on my Fitbit. Turning on the “preview” for text message on your iPhone fixed the problem!

settings/notifications/messages/show preview:always

Thanks! But none of that worked for me, I’ve tried for weeks. I returned my Fitbit today and bought the Apple Watch.

Have you tried the notifications in the phone
You can select all three then texts show on phone or leave like mine and texts don’t show on phone. No issues getting texts now

Are you using an iPhone? If so do you have your messages sent to not preview on your phone (so it will just show a name and not part of the message) if so this is why. Change this so your iPhone shows the text message as a preview and you should then get the messages on your Fitbit

Look at the notifications and the possible setting. Play around to see which one works and they way you want it to work.

This is my settings - the text shows up on my watch but not on the phone. I have to go to the text on the phone to read and reply

It's hit and miss.  I feel like I'm always having to re - Pair it or checking my settings.  Frustrating that it won't work the same as it was working with my Blaze.  I could have my phone messages set to not show a preview would still get everyting on my Blaze.  I really wish FitBit would fix it.
