I have a Versa 2 and an iPhone X and cannot seem to get my text messages to my watch. All the settings are on to receive notifications on phone & watch. I had no issue with this and the blaze. Help please:)

I'm sorry but you're all kidding yourselves if you think fitbit will fix this issue. They will let it linger so that it forces you to buy a new one just so it functions as advertised and prior to THEM causing the issue. I suggest galaxy watches, yes more pricey but at least it works how it is supposed to and you dont have to fear every update that comes.

I have posted they are working on the text problem. Mine started receiving texts last week. And I've had it since end of December. So they are indeed working on it if eveyrone would be patient. Yours will work.

I am more than frustrated with my Versa 2. I have not been able to receive any Text messages on my watch since I purchased it 2 months ago. I have tried all the suggestions and supposed solutions between the watch and my Galaxy S9 on T-Mobile. The primary reason for this watch was this feature.

What has worked for me is changing to a different messaging app on my phone and making it the default in the Fitbit app. I am using Google Messages and it has worked fine for several weeks. I also tried Verizon Message+ and it also worked, but I like Google Messages better.

Well mine started picking up text messages for a couple weeks now on Verizon Messages+. I've used that app for years. They did another update today 1/31/2020 and everything still is working perfect. Saved me spending more money on a Garmin.Besides not everyone uses everything in the watch. Most the exercise things are for the younger people. I've had a Charge 3 for awhile and they fixed the bugs in a few weeks. So I've been happy and patient with Fitbit!

I had the exact same issue on my phone (Samsung S10) and to fix this I now use the google messages, everything now works. It seems like an issue with the Samsung messaging app. I hope this helps, I have spent many hours trying to solve this one

I have an Android. I was receiving texts before this new update. They stopped again. But I noticed they must be working on th O2 senser since it blinks green and red. Not just green.

I have the Samsung S10e and nothing worked for over a month now of attempts to fix this issue. I contacted support who claim they are working on it - very frustrating

I tried Google messages and others and they wouldn't work either. It worked for 2 weeks with the Messages + before they put out the update. Then they stopped again. I heard the O2 is supposed to be in the update. I noticed the green light underneath the watch is now red and green. Maybe this is the beginning of it working? I'll just wait for the texts again as they did eventually work perfect. I've been contacting them by email since they can see when you sync in.

I should have known better. My orginal versa just went out. Weeks before the messaging stopped working too. Figured buying the new one I would be good. The messages randomly work and it's rare. You can get an apple watch for less than 300 bucks RN. fitbit charging apple prices with garabage customer service. I think it's time to research an acceptable replacement.
