I have a Versa 2 and an iPhone X and cannot seem to get my text messages to my watch. All the settings are on to receive notifications on phone & watch. I had no issue with this and the blaze. Help please:)

I am also liking Google Messages better than the default Samsung app. I like the fact that you can search for images and links. Way better than scrolling through a bunch of text threads trying to find that photo someone sent. It has been a couple of weeks and it is still working reliably with the Versa 2.

If you are referring to Google Messages, no. It is a text message app, just like the default Samsung app on your phone. It works with any other messaging app. Other people you are texting with do not need to have it.

Me too!! My husband bought it as my Christmas gift, and now it won't receive text. Super frustrated...
EDIT: I did just install Google Messages and the issue resolved itself. Versa2 is getting messages from it. Bizarre!!!🤔

I am having the same issue. I have a Samsung Note 10+ and text messages just stopped coming through. I have done all of the troubleshooting mentioned in the earlier posts. But nothing is seeming to work. This is frustrating and I am ready to return the device.

same problem. I have a Samsung s10. It was working perfectly for the first month til I updated the app. Now I cannot receive text notifications.
I switched to using Samsung default text messaging app and it's working (sort of). Still not as good as before the update. I can't voice reply now either 😒 Extremely disappointed! I can still return it so I might do that!

I'm receiving all notifications except for texts. I have a Galaxy Note 10 and a Versa 2. I've had my watch 2 weeks. I've tried ALL the suggestions.

I’ve contacted Fitbit and spoke with them several times. They literally told me the last time that the messaging was no longer working with iPhone and they didn’t know when they would have it fixed. I think it’s time to get a Garmin.

That is what I did and it's somewhat working except now my watch wont respond to my voice at all....text replies or Alexa. So, I am sending it back to Amazon and getting a replacement. We'll see 🤞

I am so disappointed with this watch. I am taking mine back to the store where I purchased this week as I have not even had it for 3 weeks yet. I have tried everything that has been told to me by support both in chat and on here, am at my wit's end with it. I can not get it to work majority of the functions. I paid way too much money for this watch. I could have just paid it on a regular watch.

I am on Facebook and it would be going off constantly with all the groups I'm in and friends leaving me messages. Glad it worked for you. I have tried everything but Fitbit says they are working on it. I had problems last year with my Charge 3 and eventually was smoothed out. Just like any computer. They put things out then fix the bugs as they get told. Glad you found a way to get it to work.

Like every other computer. I had problems last year with my Charge 3. Eventually they got everything working perfect. Fitbit knows there's a problem and told me to be patient as they are working on it. I've tried everything and one day soon it will work.
