I have a Versa 2 and an iPhone X and cannot seem to get my text messages to my watch. All the settings are on to receive notifications on phone & watch. I had no issue with this and the blaze. Help please:)

You think they'd post something on this bug to let all know it's getting
fixed.

Yep. You'd think so! I did order a replacement through Amazon since the voice recognition isn't working now. I love this watch too much to give up on it. It's really everything I wanted and more (the Alexa reminders). For now, at least I am able to use message+ and get alerted. I hope that when my new watch arrives tomorrow the voice recognition will work again.

Another fix--sometimes what is happening when you don't get notifications on the Fitbit is that the Fitbit app is not syncing properly. When you open the app, you see that it has been awhile since it synced. The fix to that is to go into Settings on your Samsung phone, go to apps, find the Fitbit app, and click on Force Stop. Then restart your phone. This happened to me today. I noticed that a text came through on my phone but not on the Versa 2. Also, Alexa was not working. After the force stop, everything was working again. It only takes a couple of minutes and is worth a try.

I'll try that. Thanks! I never had any trouble with my fitbit til this latest update.

My watch was always synced and I was getting all notifications, even "New
Text" but would not get the actual text message. Just a pop up saying I
had a new text on my watch. When i change to message+ I do get the full
texts on my watch, but not when I toggle back to "messages" app. It's the
combination of the new android/samsung messages app with FitBit app.

Thanks to the person who said I should install & set Google Message as my
default. As of today, I am receiving complete text messages on my Versa 2
watch and also get options to reply including using microphone to speak a
reply! Yeah! Hope it keeps working.

I have just decided for now to leave my default message app to be Google
message and I am not trying to go back and forth between different message
apps. I had some people I know send me text messages and I do get them now
on my watch and then they go to my phone but you have to be quick looking
at the messages on your watch because they disappear quickly.

Your message are not disappearing. You can swipe down on the watch face to view your text messages or to reply or delete them.

I actually changed to Google messaging also. I get messages sporadically
on my watch. I will call Fitbit tomorrow to see if they configure out the
issues with my Samsung messaging.

I feel exactly the same about my Versa2. So far, Fitbit has not offered to exchange or refund. It was too expensive if the only part of their product working is watch and step counter.

Me too. Less than a month after receiving it as a gift, now even the vibrations have completely stopped!

I don't understand why our watches worked good in the beginning and then quit working....I just dont understand that!?!? My watched worked absolutely perfect for almost a month. I updated the software (only because I wanted to see if I got the new Oxygen sensor roll out) and now my microphone doesn't work, my watch won't stay synced and I dont get text notifications. Fix the software. Something in the latest update messed everything up!!

I think the disappear on the Fitbit after you open the message on your phone.

So far the only problem I have had was the text message issue. However, I
did not get my watch until January, 2020. Also, I purchased the insurance
after I read some negative reviews. Not sure if they would cover software
issues (probably not) but I bought it anyway.

I don't get any texts. Phone calls and everything else works. Fitbit knows there's a problem and they are working on it. No time limit though. When I had problems with another one after a few months it just all worked one day. I'm willing to wait as I am happy with them when they get them working.

I could not agree more! It's one thing to have a faulty product and another not to back it. They are making their customers pay for their poor planning on the app. The few who will answer offer no solutions-just more hoops to jump through to wind up back at the product that isn't working.

Mt text messages only came through when I first got it then they stopped. No other message app works. Fitbit assures me they are working on it. I had similar problems with other Fitbit products and as they said they worked it all out. But took awhile.

Mine works on the "OLD" Messages+ app, but not on the new Messages app on
Samsung Galaxy S10+. I had to revert all back to the old messages+ app,
which was a pain. Now can't use the new feature of the avatar on the
messages app and other cool features just so i can get texts on my watch.
