Hi all!
Just in the past 3 days my Versa 2 has stopped receiving texts. It will still notify of incoming calls. Syncing seems to be a bit slow also. Through my phone, Samsung S10plus, I have all the correct settings applied for messaging. I have tried resetting my Versa, turned bluetooth off on my phone then back on again, even tried (from the fitbit app) uninstalling then reinstalling my Versa 2. Anyone have any other tips? Please and thanks!

I am having the same issue I have a galaxy s10 plus and the first Versa and all of a sudden the text notification won't come through on watch however calls and notifications from other applications come through just fine. I have done everything from uninstalling the Fitbit app, turning off watch and bluetooth nothing is working and it's been doing this a week now.

I'm having the same issue. When I got my Versa 2, I was on a Samsung 8s, and having no issues. Since moving to my new Samsung Note 10+, I get no texts. I've also done what everyone else has - reconnected the device, restarted my Versa, etc. So frustrating. We need this fixed asap.

Ive had the same problem. When I called customer service 2 days ago, they said its a common problem, they've had many complaints and they are working on it.

I am running into the same problem with my Samsung S10e. Getting all notifications except text messages. I had an S7 and had no issues. I love this aspect of my watch. I hope they get this resolved!

I was having this same issue with my Samsung S10 and Versa 2. I received all notifications on Fitbit EXCEPT text messages. This all started after January 2020 Samsung S10 update. I exhausted all the troubleshooting and chatted with Fitbit support on 2 occasions without solving this. BUT, today I tried changing from the default Samsung Message app to the Verizon Message+ app. After a minute of the switch, my wrist was buzzing with text alerts. So I am assuming the conflict is between the Samsung Message App and the Fitbit. Try another messaging app. I hope this helps you!

I had a brief 2 hour time frame on Tuesday this week when I restarted receiving my text messages again. However that's exactly how long at last it was only 2 hours. My phone did have a system update on Tuesday morning which I downloadedand hoped it would help. But I have not had any luck with it again since those 2 hours Tuesday afternoon.

Thanks to the folks on this thread who suggested using a different messaging app. I switched from the Samsung messaging app to the Messages+ Verizon app, and now it's working! I don't like the Verizon app as well as the Samsung app (I love all the colors and themes on Samsung), but at least I"m getting my texts now! Thank you! Would still love to hear if they get the bug on the Samsung app fixed, though.

I've tried everything as well.I think fitbit and Samsung need to get together you guys have had issues since the beginning of the month mine just started last week very annoying.We spend the money on this product and it half work and to me we should have to switch message app because this is their issue if not corrected soo. I want my money back

I just got a versa.2 and i am having the same issues i can't read texts on my watch. I called and they opened a ticket so we'll see how long it takes to fix this issue

Ive read the updates of using the other app for messaging. But is it an Verizon messaging app? Because I have AT&T.... I can't find a second messaging app.

I googled it and it says google has a messaging app I went to my play store and typed in texts or messages and it was there. I'm pretty sure Verizon and sprint have something similar. I dont like the fact that I cant use the Samsung messaging that sucks but I did get my texts to come thru in this google app

I have a theory. If Samsung doesn't work with Fitbit, then that must mean that you'll go buy a Samsung watch, right?😉

I was having the exact same problem so I downloaded Messages app and it started working perfectly. So it must be something with the default message app for Samsung. I went through a lot if tears and frustration to finally figure this out. Not even the fitbit support knew this. Very disappointed. I'm glad I finally got it to work. Maybe it'll work for you too. I hope fitbit works this bug out because it kinda sucks having to change message apps and having to relearn or get used to something different when it worked perfectly but just not with Versa 2 watch. UGH!! That was a nightmare headache to say the very least. Now I can move on with my life!
