My Versa 2 doesn’t record my bike rides. It says it’s connecting but rarely does and when it does it quickly disconnects. It works fine for walks. Any ideas on what the issue is please?

Hi @AngelaB123, welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'd like to follow up and help you with your Fitbit Versa 2 since it doesn't record your bike ride with the GPS feature.
Please restart your Versa as described in this help article. After this, check out and follow the troubleshooting steps that are listed in this help page, under the subject "Why isn't GPS working on my Fitbit device?". Finally, monitor your watch during your bike rides and see if they get tracked properly.

I have a Fitbit Versa2. I reset my fitbit per other posts, however it did not resolve the problem with the Bike exercise not working correctly.
I have a Galaxy S9 that is running the latest software.
What do I need to do with the app / GPS setting to make this bike app wok?

The fix for me was to force stop fitbit app and clear cache then restart fitbit and sync.
After that I always get a connection. Seems I have to do this every other week or so.
