I noticed recently that my brand new versa 2 (preordered a month ago, arrived the day after launch) has completely stopped tracking my heart rate, and because of this it no longer records sleep data. Additionally, it displays hourly step reminders and shows me my progress, but when i check the app it does not show any data for step reminders. This has been going on since last week, as the last recorded sleep and step reminder data was from 10/2. Anyone else experiencing this issue? Anyone have and recommendations on how i can fix this / have it replaced? I have tried turning heart data off and on, completely deleting the versa 2 and re-setting it up, and deleting the fitbit app and re installing and nothing is working.

I am having a similar issue. I just got mine 2 days ago. Since then it hasn’t recorded my heart rate while wearing it nor done sleep tracking. My previous Charge 2 was perfect from the start so I’m really disappointed to have these issues. I’ve done troubleshooting as well but not luck. The heart rate will work if I’m holding the device against my fingertips , sometimes, so I’m not sure if it’s a sensor issue. I’ll be sending back this weekend if I can’t get it resolved. 😕

I’m having the same issue. If I wear it basically on the inside of my wrist it is fine, but I shouldn’t have to do that. My old Versa never had this problem. I’ve shut it down and that doesn’t fix it. UGH! Wondering if this is a glitch and if I should take it back and get a new one but it sounds like isn’t just me. Help!!!

I called FitBit support- super friendly! We did a restart of everything. Then, he asked if the green light was blinking. It does NOT most of the time. It will intermittently. Given this, he said it was the sensor and advised to get a replacement. I’m sending it in tomorrow and awaiting my third watch. I’m not sure if there was a faulty batch or what. I used the Charge 2 previously, and it worked like a dream with the green light constantly flashing. So I’m happy we found the source of the issue. I love the watch and looking forward to getting it working right.

My heart rate is not consistent with app. Neither is my sleep time. I have opted in for the $79.99 sleep coach and that appears to do nothing special. The meditation section does not work either. What to do?
I have worn Fitbit’ for several years.this is my second Versa but my first Versa2.
