Have the bugs been removed from the Versa 2. If I had known it was this new, and that it doesn't track accurately, I wouldn't have purchased it.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @sunrisenjb. I am sorry for the delayed response.
I appreciate your participation in the Forums and sharing your concern about your Fitbit Versa 2 tracking your active minutes or stairs accurately. I totally understand how you are feeling. As you know, the active minutes are awarded when the activity you're doing or logging is more strenuous than regular walking. Also keep in mind that active minutes are only recorded for activities that last 10 minutes or longer. For more information about how the active minutes are calculated, please see this help article: What are active minutes? I recommend to restart your watch as described in this help article. This will refresh your device internally.
Regarding your concern about stairs, your watch uses both an accelerometer and altimeter to track floors, and registers a floor when detecting continuous motion combined with an elevation gain of about 10 feet. Because the device looks for continuous motion, pausing when you go up a flight of stairs can cause the device to not count the floor. Your device may count less floors than you think it should for a variety of reasons. Not all flights are the same height or distance, so if the flight you climbed is less than 10 feet you may find that the device's floor count doesn't exactly match how many floors you climbed. Exposure to excess moisture can also cause result in fewer floors.
