Versa 2 not syching, not pairing, not factory resetting

I am at my wit's end with my Versa 2 and the lack of responsive help. I've been using FIBITs since 2013, so this is especially frustrating.

 

1. Have a Versa 2 since January. sporadic restarts of phone and tracker from the beginning. Was on a Samsung Galaxy Note 5.

2. Recently upgraded to Note 10. Versa paired, and synched, with sporadic restarts of phone and tracker required.

3. Past 2 days, must restart to get ANY synching to happen. (DEVICE NOT FOUND over and over)

4. Went through ALL reccomended troubleshooting.

5. Today: Removed Versa 2 from account

6. Deleted and reinstalled app

7. Versa 2 refuses to pair. Reset reset reset - no use

8. Tried to pair with Galaxy Note 5 (it worked there before)

9. Cannot be found on bluetooth on any phone, tablet or computer

10. Tried factory reset: NO "ABOUT" SECTION IN SETTINGS ON PHONE.

12. Tried resetting to factory settings, using instructions to do regular reset, let go and hold button until vibration.

13. Versa 2 screen now has a red X, telling me that data was not cleared, Synch and retry.

14. SERIOUSLY? IT WAS THE INABILITY TO SYNC THAT STARTED THIS.

15. Here's the kicker. I charged my Blaze, paired it up and it is working fine. Would love to just sent the Versa2 back, but I am past 45 days,but still in the one year warranty but the link that says "click here for instructions" just sends me back to the support queue.

16. Anyone have any idea how to get me out of this?

Me Versa 2 started acting like this yesterday. Managed to get it reconnected after resetting the device, but now after sleeping the fitbit app once again can't see the watch. Really annoying. Hope someone can come up with a permanent fix.

I’m experiencing the same issue (iPhone). Two days ago my Versa 2 stopped syncing. I reset it, charged it. Didn’t work. I deleted it from the app, deleted the Fitbit app, re-added both. Versa 2 still wasn’t recognized by Fitbit app. Stopped and started Bluetooth. Restarted iPhone. Still nothing. To make matters worse, now my Versa 2 is unresponsive and the screen won’t show anything now. Very frustrating as this never happened with my old Blaze.

The exact same thing is happening to me. None of the trouble shooting tips is working. This is so frustrating and it seems like there is no one helping. Has anyone figured this out?

eventually, I tried going back to factory settings, and the Versa2 froze completely. I contacted Fitbit support, and since I was in the manufacturer’s warranty period, they sent me a new one, which is now working fine - except for tracking exercises on occasion - the steps and distance are not recorded properly, and I think it may be something to do with the GPS signal in my neighborhood. So, I’m not going to track the exercise, just my steps in that area.

Once I got their attention, FitBit support was very helpful, and shipped the replacement promptly.
