Hi all.
Versa 2 has been out of battery since November 24th 2022. Charged it up today because I finally found the wire. However, it won't sync. The date was showing as 24th November at about 4am, which I assume is when it ran out of charge.
The app is now acting like my watch is off, when it's active and has a charge. When it was still paired in the app, it was showing the watch as dead, and every resync attempt just threw up a failure.
I have:
I am now left with a factory reset watch just telling me to 'download the FitBit app!!' and a FitBit app that seems incapable of registering the existence of my watch.
Any advice would be appreciated before I just bin the stupid thing and make the switch to another brand.

Hi Jah!
I just accidentally found an answer! And I found it buried on another thread (no help from FitBit as per usual lol). Make sure to turn off all bluetooth devices in the area - my Versa 2 was connecting automatically to my computer, despite the two having never been linked or notifying me that it had been linked! It connected the second I turned my computer's bluetooth off, and is currently going through a load of updates.
Edit: Yep, all updated/connected/and resolved! Gonna mark myself as best answer just so others can find it 🙂
So anything with bluetooth capability (which is a lot these days...) turn it off! Might be your watch is connecting to the TV or fridge lol.

Apologies, I also uninstalled and reinstalled the app too. Still nothing.

I have also turned my phone on and off again after doing all of the above.

The exact same thing has happened to me this morning. I've also done everything you have.......out of ideas! So annoying 🙄
