I have the versa 2 and a laptop on win10. The app is syncing fine with stats etc but will not 'find my phone' when wanting to download music. i have gone through all the trouble shooting i could find etc but with no joy so far.

Any ideas on how to proceed? I am starting to regret the purchase!!

Hi @sunshinewalksuk. Welcome on board! I'm sorry for the delayed response.

Thanks for letting me know about your Versa 2 and the troubleshooting tried on your own. I understand how you're feeling and I'm sorry that you're having this experience. Let me help you with this matter. As you may know there are some factors that may affect the process to download music. For that reason, make sure of the following:

  • Your watch is plugged into the charging cable and next to your router during the process.
  • Your watch is connected to a strong WiFi connection.
  • There aren't other Bluetooth connections turned on nearby.
  • The Fitbit app and your watch are updated to the latest version.
  • You're downloading your playlist from iTunes or Windows Media Player.

If those conditions are taken into consideration, give a try to these steps:

  1. Remove your Versa 2 from the Bluetooth settings.
  2. Turn off the Bluetooth in your laptop and any other device nearby.
  3. Restart your watch.
  4. Turn back on the Bluetooth and sync with the Fitbit app.
  5. Once you've synced, verify if your watch is connected to WiFi. You can see this help article.
  6. Then, close the Fitbit app and download the Fitbit Connect app for PC.
  7. Try the process to download music as described here. Make sure "Share iTunes Library XML with other applications" is set to OK when using iTunes > Edit > Preferences > Advanced.

If the issues persist, may I know if you've received an error message on your watch and computer? Is the format of your playlists MP3 or MP4 w/ audio? Was your watch able to connect to WiFi?

Let me know how it goes.
