Versa 2 not tracking heart rate accurately

Hey all. 

I brought a versa 2 at the start if April and had problems with the heart rate from the start. It would just randomly stop reading a heart rate, sometimes staying off for several hours before starting again. After a few weeks of trying all the troubleshooting I returned to where i brought it for a new one. That was two days ago and the new one is doing exactly the same thing!! I'm starting to get really fustrated as the heart rate is linked to most of the key features. Is this something other people have encountered or am I just really unlucky? Or am I possibly doing something wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
