My Fitbit versa 2 has stopped accurately recording my hr.. during a workout where I’d typically have an average of 150/60 bpm, it won’t hold the true value. It should be reading a high measurement for a cardio workout but it will jump up and down ultimately giving me an inaccurate average. Any suggestions on why this is happening or how I can fix this?

Since many of us are in the same boat, there are multiple threads with similar issues. The gist of things seems to be the latest firmware update containing some sort of bug that is disrupting many of our devices and preventing remotely accurate exercise HR numbers.
For many of us as well, these HR measurement issues are present during non-exercise times also, and again — since these problems only presented themselves after that most recent firmware update — it’s not our individual devices that are the cause.
Currently, the prevailing response pattern from Fitbit is a series of questions relative to your own specific device and how you wear it/use it, along with advice on how to restart and/or factory reset your device.
If these were one-off occurrences, that would all be sound advice. However, quite the opposite seems to be true.

Thank you for your response! I would agree with this also, hopefully a new update to resolve this issue isn’t far away as I need a somewhat accurate HR reading for my training
