I have tried restarting my versa 2 many times and also Did a factory reset but it still isnt working. I guess that the device is broken but how can i return it for a repair/refund?

Replying to this as my Fitbit Versa 2 has started having this problem over the last 2 days. Have tried everything I can to fix it and having had this device for 2 years and it being out of warranty now, this is incredibly frustrating.

I’m having the same issue as well. The lights on the back of of my versa are not flashing and it hasn’t recorded my heart rate for almost a week. I’ve repeatedly tried all of the steps outlined. My watch is less than a year old and this is the second major issue I’ve had with this watch. Fitbit, please get these issues resolved!

I've been having issues as well. I've had my watch for a year and a half. I've tried all the suggested fixes. I bought this version to have a reliable heart rate monitor. This is my second FitBit. The first one completely died just over a year of use. Now this. No Light, no signal, no tracking. Is there honestly anything that is being done for everyone or is Fitbit just washing their hands of all of it now that we're over warranty?

I am having the same exact issues since I updated my watch. The sensor (green light) works for 2 or 3min after I follow the steps then turns off. No HR tracking. I thought the the sensor broke but since it turns on every now and then, I don’t know what’s going on exactly. Too bad. I only had the watch for 1 year and half.

Hi, I am having similar issues. My watch isnt counting my steps, showing heart rate and the lights on back of the watch arent showing. Also, I have the watch to where its supposed to turn on when I flip it to me and thats not working. I did as your instructions asked and I even changed the watch face . Still not working and my battery is at 60% . Im not sure what to do I even put it in rice last night to see if maybe moisture had gotten to it.

The customer service contacted me saying there's nothing to do... I need to get a new watch. It was a bad investment I will not buy any of their products anymore which is such a shame their tracking was great.

Yep, I'll add my name to this list too. My versa2 HR doesn't work, no green light, nothing. Way out of warranty....Fitbit...what do we do? These are expensive devices, surely your advice isn't to just "buy another one".

A couple of years ago I bought 3 Fitbit versa lites for my family. Mine failed while under warranty and was replaced. The replacement failed the next year. My mother's is having this problem and has failed. Only one still works - so 3 out of 4 (including the replacement) broke in a relatively short time period. At this point I won't be buying another one for a while. I don't want a product that needs to be replaced every year.

Same issue for me. Nice to know that my upgrade to Garmin wasn’t in vain. Fix it Fitbit. You’ve lost a lot of customers.

I am on my second versa 2 in the last 2 months.... I want a refund. I have done all the trouble shooting there is and my heart rate monitor and exercise tracking. This is ridiculous

I'm having this same problem. Versa 2 stopped tracking heart rate. There is no light on the back of the watch. I've tried all the listed steps, cleaned the back of my watch plus shut down both phone and watch to resend. Still no success.

I am having the same issue. My heart rate won't show up at all (and hasn't for weeks) and the green lights won't light up at all, even after I've tried the steps listed above several times. Is my fitbit broken?

Adding my Versa 2 to this list. As of 4 September apparently my heart stopped! I have tried updates, resets, factory re-sets, toggling settings, cleaning it and nothing. Annoyingly it also wiped out over 16,000 steps today, despite synching and disconnecting my device from the app before doing the factory re-set. They reappeared for about 20 minutes then vanished.

Adding my Versa 2 to the list too. The sensors stopped working about 2 days ago. The watch is about 2 years old but for the last year has only been worn at night.

I had the same issue but I just fixed it! Solution, no joke- bang on the back a few couple times until the light comes back on. It flickered a few times but I clamped the watch together with my fingers and then continued banging. Watch is working again. I guess it just gets loose sometimes

Bang on the back of it! I just fixed mine! Don’t know how long it will last but for now it is working 🙂
