Versa 2 not tracking heart rate

The sensor on my Versa 2 is no longer flashing so it is not tracking my heart rate. I have tried resetting but no joy. Any advice?

Please try the troubleshooting steps that are listed in this help article. This article contains steps that you already tried but you can skip them and proceed with the rest.

Finally, monitor your watch during the next 24 hours and see if the issue gets fixed.

Hi this is happening with my versa 2 aswell!!, I have reset and upgrade software and still not working

I'm having this same problem. I have turned the heart rate off, then back on again, and reset my watch.  It still does not stay on. It will be on for awhile, but then I don't get a reading during a walk or overnight. It says my heart rate tracker was off.  What else can we do to make it stay on??

My Versa2 heart rate monitor just stopped working 2 days ago. Did all the troubleshooting tips with tech. Reset the device. REST it to factory setting, updated the software and still no luck. the lights on the back will flashh for a few seconds then just go out.  The last person I had on Chat said they will email me with further steps.  Very disappointed with this.

Same problem, no green led light at the back no matter what I try to do... Step count working normally, just no sleep tracking and heart rate constantly shows '- -'... Any suggestions what else can be done

Hi Jesl8r, can you please keep us updated on what those further steps are they send you?  I have not found any fixes through this community. The moderators, just send you back to other responses, which don't work. Thanks!

Well that's a crappy way to take care of their issue. 35% off is not worth
putting more money into a product that worked a year. BS if you ask me.
It's just a money maker now.

What a crappy way to handle this problem.  35% off another product is not enough for me to put more money into their product that only works a year.  I will end up purchasing a samsung watch instead, if that happens to me.

I got my versa 2 on Amazon, we haven't heard anything from fitbit team, so today I contacted Amazon's support team and they said it has 2year warranty and free of charge we can send it back so they can run some tests and decide whether they can repair it or should replace it with new unit.

 

I think it might be a better option than 35% discount as mentioned above... For sure I wouldn't buy a new fitbit watch if I got such an offer.

Fitbit only has a 1 year warranty on devices standard. You can buy a 2 year plan extra. Maybe you had the 2 year coverage through Amazon. I got mine as a Christmas gift in 2019 so for my 35% off isn't bad.

Hi, I also got my fitbit in December 2019 and according to my fitbit app my sleep tracking and heart rate tracking only lasted till 22.06.2020 after that step counts and everything else works great but no green dioda at the back.

 

I checked fitbit website and this is what I found:

'LIMITED PRODUCT WARRANTY FOR NEW PRODUCTS

Fitbit warrants to the original purchaser that your Fitbit-branded device and accessories that are new (the "New Product(s)") shall be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase, except that if you reside in the European Economic Area (EEA) and you purchased your Fitbit product in the EEA, the warranty period is two (2) years from the date of purchase (the "New Product Warranty Period").'

 

Last 4 years I have been living in Spain and I used an Amazon.es to purchase my watch which generally explains why I was offered the repair/replacement service by Amazon.

Having same issues with mine, also alexa stopped working, I tried all the troubleshooting mentioned but nothing worked, not even a factory reset. Got 2 versa, one for me and one for my wife, only mine stopped working, please advise.
