I have followed instructions posted but still have the issue. Plus my phone/text notifications stop working too.
I see many have the same complaints. Has anyone gotten a solution to this? Its only been a year and shouldn’t be having these issues. If I can’t get it resolved does anyone have another brand that they recommend? Thx!

I had the same issue and followed all the instructions. Contacted the help centre and was told to follow all the re start instructions that are online. My Fitbit is still not working - has no light showing on the back so no heart or sleep data and will not update steps or calories so basically not working. Help centre emailed and offered me 35% off a new Fitbit despite mine being just 18 months old. Not very happy.

Sorry to hear. I just went through the same exact thing. Looks like FitBit put out an update on 6-14-22. My fitbit HR monitor quit tracking on 6-16-22. I called today (6-26-22) and all I got was a sorry, here's a 35% off coupon for a new fitbit. Think this HR monitor issue is due to the firmware update they pushed and haven't realized it yet. Or not willing to take liability for it. Good luck. I too am looking at other options, bought my fitbit October 2020 and it's out of warranty.
