Versa 2 not tracking miles when do indoor walk video

Just got versa2 I do alot of indoor walk videos due to allergies. I had Garmin previously that tracked my steps and miles doing a walk exercise which helped me make sure I was staying on beat/track to get miles done by end of video. Now using versa2 I used walk exercise and then tried workout exercise and neither tracks my miles. I really need to make sure I complete the miles during my video workouts any advice would be helpful thanks!

Hello @Juanita81 and welcome to the Help forum.  This might sound silly, but do you have your GPS turned on for these workouts?  If your GPS is on, and you basically stay in the same place, no distance gets measured.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @Juanita81. Thank you for letting us know that your indoor walk activities are not registering your distance. 

 

If you´re registering your activity with SmartTrack the distance won´t appear either. Take into consideration what @LZeeW mentioned too.
