Versa 2 not tracking my complete sleep hours

My versa 2 has started misreading my go to bed times and wake up times. Last night for example I was in bed shortly after 11 and asleep pretty quickly. I didn’t wake up until about 7:00 but it shows me as waking up at 4:44? It’s done this a few times. Any suggestions?

Welcome to the community forums @GillianC61

Thank you for sharing with me the information about this sleep recording of your Versa 2 and for the screenshot provided.

Please, make sure your heart rate is working:

  • Switch the Heart Rate settings from On to Off and manually sync your watch. To switch the heart rate settings on your Fitbit device, from the main screen of your Versa 2, swipe left until you see "Settings", next swipe up until you see "Heart Rate" and switch it to Off.
  • Once it's done, manually sync your Versa 2. To do so, from the Today tab, tap Devices > device image. Tap Sync Now
  • Next, switch it from Off to On and manually sync your Fitbit device once again.
  • Once it's done, restart your watch once again.
  • Next, confirm that your tracker is snug on your wrist (the lights shouldn't be visible) We also recommend when you're not exercising, wear the tracker just above the wrist bone.

In addition to that, I suggest taking a look at these help article Why don't I see sleep stages today? and What factors can affect my heart-rate reading on my Fitbit device?

Thank you. I’ve performed all these steps. We’ll see how it records my
sleep tonight. It had me awake at 6:24 this morning when I wasn’t actually
awake until close to 8:00. I do have an aftermarket wristband so maybe
that’s contributing to the problem…
