Versa 2 not tracking outdoor bike rides

Bike outdoors exercise is not tracking on my Verso 2 it shows no distance, no map sometimes and sometimes an inaccurate map. I bike 3 miles, it says .01 or .05. Frustrating. But time while biking  is correct.

Mine tracks some bike rides and not others. The map and heart rate data doesn't show up in Fitbit app exercise page, but the map & HR show up in my strava app so I know the data is being collected. HR data does show on the Fitbit app heart monitoring section. 

-Fitbit app is on Android device. I already tried restarting both versa 2 and phone, and reinstalled Fitbit app (huge pain) to see if that would fix the problem. 

-I am tracking rides from the watch with connected GPS, and it never tells me gps disconnected.

-Strava app shows all data (map, distance, splits, HR)l so I know it is collected but it doesn't show in Fitbit app. 

This is a huge pain, I should be able to get all my data in the same place on the actual app that tracked it.

Came here looking for a similar answer.  Fitbit used to record outdoor bike rides with map and distance, now it always thinks I'm only indoors.  Not sure how to correct the issue.
