Versa 2 not tracking runs AT ALL

Heyb guys. 

 

Wanted to post to see if anyone else has has this issue, my versa won't track my runs at all. Well, tell a lie it tracks about 10 feet of my run then cuts off. 

 

I've attempted 10 or so runs since buying this device, and about 10 feet worth of run has tracked. After the first couple of times I unsynced, re synced, removed the app and re installed it, and even factory reset it to start afresh.

 

Everytime I attempt to go for a run, the device says "connected". A notification comes up on my phone (which I have stepped to my arm) "connected GPS running". Then, when I'm about 10-20 feet away from home it looses connection and on the watch says "connecting" and when I look back at the run its not tracked more than 10feet. I have tried it with WiFi on and WiFi off, location and Bluetooth are always on.

 

I also have the problem that most times I look at the app it says last syncd a day ago.... And after pressing the sync button it usually takes 7 or 8 attempts for it to sync. 

 

Any info would be great as I've currently paid £200 for a watch that tells me the time, and that's the feature I least wanted to get out of the watch.
