I got the Versa 2 for Christmas. It wouldn't track my heart, sleep or stairs. 18 emails later, they told me it was defective and sent me a replacement. IT DOESN'T WORK EITHER!! My sleep doesn't get monitored or recorded. Heart rate is patchy. No flights of stairs gets registered. I've followed all the 'steps to ensure best placement' etc etc for heart and sleep, tried LITERALLY everything anyone could think of. Did restarts, reboots, resets.. Repeat. Still nothing. Oh and I paid for a new 2019 special edition Versa 2 & they sent me a refurbished device that was visibly gross & dirty as a replacement. 25+ emails later, 4 weeks of my time and effort, a replacement sent and IT STILL DOESN'T WORK! After a decade with Fitbit, I'm just done!! Wasted 250$ on a device that's basically a crappy watch and nothing more.

I'm also sorry to hear that your replacement Versa 2 is not tracking your sleep, heart rate and stairs properly. I totally understand how you feel about this and we appreciate your feedback.
I was able to get in touch with our Support team and was told that they assisted you via email after you started this thread and provided some instructions. In case the issue persists, please reply to their last email and they'll be happy to follow up and assist you accordingly.
