Versa 2 not tracking sleep, not updating, not tracking water

OK, problem started yesterday.  My versa 2 was stuck on the blue fitbit logo.  Tried for 2 hours to fix it and just gave up and went to bed.  This morning it is working again, but I get the notice on my phone app that I need to update the tracker software, and on my actual watch it won't let me track water or sleep when you swipe up from the main clock face screen.  I have spent the last 2 hours trying to update the software and it never finishes.  I have tried restarting my versa, deleting the phone app and reiinstalling, and tried to update via wifi and bluetooth.  I love my tracker (except I wish it had an audible alarm but that is a whole other story) but I am seriously about to toss it in the back of a closet next to the cobwebs.  Can someone please help me???  Thanks in advance!
