Versa 2 not turning on after swimming

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Hello! I bought my Versa 2 a year ago and have taken it into the water on only a couple of occasions. Today I took it to the ocean and after just two dips in the water, it stopped working. I have tried all the steps mentioned, but it still isn’t working. I didn’t snorkel with it or do anything that is beyond the previous times I’ve worn it. What can I do? Thank you.

Hi @ZimZam123, welcome to the Community Forums!

Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for trying some steps before to posting over here. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know if the heart rate sensors are flashing or is your device completely unresponsive? If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check our help article: Why isn't my battery charging on my Fitbit device? and let me know how it goes. Such article includes a restart process which can be really helpful for this situation

Let me know if further assistance is needed and if you have any additional questions.

Hello and thank you!
It is completely unresponsive. And I tried the restart and still nothing. I actually looked at your article as my second troubleshooting step. It was freshly charged that morning and was still at around 80% when I went into the water that late afternoon. The screen came on with the FitBit logo twice and both times just turned off. I’ve had it in its charging dock for several hours. It’s barely even a year old and it just happened randomly despite me using that same one in water prior.
