Versa 2 not vibrating for alerts.

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Hello,

within the last week, my versa two has stopped vibrating for notification alerts. I have gone through all the steps in previous posts including testing the vibration, disconnecting from Bluetooth, logging out is app, shutting watch down, shutting iPhone down...nothing seems to work.
Notification still appears on the watch itself, but there is no vibration to being it to my attention.
Rather frustration. Thank you.

OK, since my firmware hadn’t updated in however long all the tips and instructions weren’t getting me where I needed to go I discovered/re-discovered the previous versions way to change things and it did turn out I had it had somehow do not disturb had been activated. I don’t believe I did it, as I didn’t even know how to get into that window in the first place. Thanks for all the help. I am in contact with Fitbit to try to figure out why my device isn’t updating.

@TigslifeMost odd - it works fine on my S9+.

Suggest to check your phone settings. Press and hold the Messages Icon, press on the App info popup.

In App settings:

Try setting all permissions on. [my location is off]

My other settings are

Notifications - allowed

Set as default

Messaging app - Messages

Appear on top - on

Change system settings - allowed

Install unknown apps - not allowed

I have done the same and finally broke down and called support. I let them know everything was great until the update earlier in the week. They basically said too bad and sent me a coupon to buy a new Fitbit 😞

After various attempts with this and some other playing around and a Samsung update that turned off my notifications altogether, I got it to work. The "notifications- allowed" requires you to go in into each type of notification (Emergency alerts, General notifications, New messages) and turn them on. Now I am getting notifications again. All the other settings matched what you put in @Guy_  and I am completely baffled as to how this was turned off on one app alone and then the phone itself, but it is fixed and I'm contented for the time. Thank you.

Thank you for your reply. I tried everything and it didn’t work so I ordered an Apple Watch. Hopefully it will work longer in these last two Fitbits!
